Unemployment in Germany in August was 6.3%, the Federal Employment Agency of Germany reported.
The indicator matched the consensus forecast of analysts, cited by Trading Economics.
The current unemployment rate has been unchanged since March and is the highest since September 2020.
The number of unemployed in the country in August decreased by the maximum for more than three years 9 thousand and amounted to 2.957 million people. Analysts expected a decrease by 10 thousand.
