Google Pixel 9a’s screen got a top score in the DxOMark test

DxOMark tested the display of Google Pixel 9a and, according to the review, it is only slightly behind the older models of the series, and in its price category became the best in the sum of indicators. In addition, in the global rating, the gadget bypassed some “ultra-flagships” of other brands.

Google Pixel 9a is equipped with a 6.3-inch pOLED-display with a resolution of 2424×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It, according to testers, performs well in all scenarios (including web surfing and watching videos in various lighting conditions) thanks to accurate colour reproduction and good brightness.

Of the minuses noted a decrease in colour saturation when viewing in the dark, lack of brightness when viewing SDR-video and registration of phantom touches when using the device in landscape orientation.

According to the test results, the smartphone took the first place in its price category and the eighth place in the overall rating, ahead of such rivals as Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
