Hugo Boss has seen its quarterly net profit fall by 29 per cent

German clothing and accessories manufacturer Hugo Boss AG saw its net profit fall by 29 per cent year-on-year in the second quarter, whilst revenue fell by 10 per cent.

According to the company’s press release, revenue for April–June stood at €905 million, compared with €1 billion for the same period a year earlier.

Net profit fell to €33 million from €47 million a year earlier.

EBIT fell to €59 million from €81 million a year earlier.

The consensus forecast by analysts, compiled by the company itself, had projected EBIT of €52 million on revenue of €907 million.

Sales (excluding currency fluctuations) in Europe, the Middle East and Africa fell by 13 per cent in the second quarter, by 1% in North and South America, and by 5% in the Asia-Pacific region.

Hugo Boss management still expects revenue in 2026 to fall by 4–9 per cent, with EBIT of €300–350 million.

Hugo Boss shares fell by 0.1% on Tuesday.
