Ukraine has not confirmed that restrictions on Starlink have been lifted. US congressmen have called on Musk to give evidence

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty sources within the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, who are familiar with the situation but not authorised to comment on it officially, reported that on the morning of 23 October, instances of signal loss were recorded at speeds of 161 km/h. There is as yet no confirmation that the restrictions on the Starshield satellite system — the military version of the Starlink service operated by the US company SpaceX — have been lifted.

Sergei ‘Flash’ Beskrestnov, an adviser to the President of Ukraine on the development of defence technologies, also stated that no lifting of restrictions on Starlink has yet been observed.

“There are isolated instances where Starlink may travel slightly faster than the set limit. However, this is likely due to the way SpaceX’s algorithm works or specific conditions of use, rather than the lifting of the restriction,” he noted.
