In Bangladesh as a result of the earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7, which occurred on Friday morning, killed at least five people, about 100 more were injured. This is reported by Reuters with reference to local authorities.
Among the injured are students of Dhaka University, workers of the factory in Gazipur city and residents of Narsingdi, where the epicentre of the earthquake was. Several victims are in critical condition.
It is now known that a child is among the dead. Three people died after a six-storey building collapsed in a locality. Other details are not yet known.
