Britain has arrested a former Prince Andrew.
“As part of the investigation we have arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office,” said a statement from police, who did not name the suspect.
Searches are also being reported at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk.
According to a number of media outlets, the arrest was of former Prince Andrew-brother of Britain’s King Charles III.
In October last year, Prince Andrew renounced his title – we are talking, in particular, the title of Duke of York and the title of Knight of the Order of the Garter.
This came amid a scandal with financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of organising sex parties for the elite of Western countries.
2021 YEARS AGO, American Virginia Giuffre filed a lawsuit against the prince for sexualised abuse. She claimed to have had sex with him when she was a minor. She was allegedly “lent” to Prince by Epstein. Giuffré died in April 2025 at the age of 41.
The prince has denied the allegations but has ceased acting as a member of the royal family and relinquished eight honourable military titles.
