Supermodel Cindy Crawford has said that she and her family are ‘indescribably heartbroken’ over the death of her son, Presley Gerber.
“We cannot put into words how heartbroken we are at the loss of our beloved son and brother. We are immeasurably grateful that Presley has been a part of our lives for 27 years. He was a kind, beautiful soul who loved and was loved, now and forever,” Crawford wrote.
Herber, aged 27, died on 20 September at a rehabilitation centre in California. The police stated that authorities are investigating his death as a suspected overdose.
Herber, like his mother and younger sister Kai, worked as a model. He made his catwalk debut with the Italian brand Moschino, for whom he walked the runway when he was just 16 years old.

Instagram photo It included a video of them dancing together as children, a photograph by the ocean and a four-page letter to Preza, printed on a blue background.
In the letter, she mentioned that she was afraid of having her ears pierced, so ‘you did it first’.
“But when I held the earring that had been taken from your body, I couldn’t think of anything except that it belonged to you,” Kaia wrote.
‘I’m learning to love you when I can’t see you. I’m learning to say things to you without picking up the phone to call you. I’m learning to be your sister in a world where I can’t reach you,’ she added.
In recent years, Gerber has spoken openly about his struggles with mental health and drug addiction. He regularly posted videos on Instagram as part of a project called ‘Mental Health Mondays’.
