Copenhagen International Airport in Denmark has temporarily suspended operations due to drones in the airspace, according to local police.
According to police, the airport is currently closed for take-off and landing as 2-3 “large drones” have been reported in the area, the time horizon is currently unknown.
An airport spokesperson confirmed to Reuters that all traffic has been halted, but declined to comment further.
FlightRadar on social media X reported that all departures and landings at Copenhagen Airport were suspended as of 20: 26 local time due to reports of drones. As of 22: 05 local time, more than 35 flights bound for Copenhagen Airport had been diverted to other airports, according to the report.
