Five people have been killed in a shooting at a youth centre in the German town of Stade. According to the BBC, citing police sources, two people have been arrested, one of whom is believed to be the shooter.
The DPA news agency reports, citing a police spokesperson, that several people were also injured in the shooting. According to the police, all those killed were adults.
The motives behind the attack remain unclear. Law enforcement authorities have not disclosed any further details.
Stade has a population of around 50,000.
