Germany’s federal government has promised Ukraine further military support totalling 5 billion euros, NTV reported on Wednesday.
“The support package will be financed with funds already approved by the Bundestag, as announced by the Federal Ministry of Defence in Berlin,” the broadcaster said in a statement on its website.
The promise was made during a visit to Berlin by a Ukrainian government delegation led by President Volodymyr Zelensky, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius also met with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov.
