Inflation in Kazakhstan in 2025 was 12.3% against 8.6% a year earlier, reported the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.
The biggest contributors to the annual inflation rate were food and non-alcoholic beverages (5.2%), healthcare (1.5%), and housing services (1.2%).
In December, inflation also accelerated to 0.9 per cent from 0.8 per cent a month earlier. Over the month, the price level of food products increased by 1.2%, non-food products – by 0.7%, paid services – by 0.6%.
