Iran again hit several regions of Israel with ballistic missiles

Iran again struck several regions of Israel with ballistic missiles on the morning of 19 June. Media reports damage to a hospital, there are wounded.

The Israel Defence Forces estimate that Iran fired about 30 ballistic missiles at Israel in today’s strike, the Times of Israel writes.

The missiles struck Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva in southern Israel, as well as Holon and Ramat Gan in central Israel.

Magen David Adom Medical Services reports three seriously injured, two in moderate condition. Another 39 people were lightly injured.

Iran’s Tasnim news agency said that the target of the Iranian missile strike was “a large Israeli army command and intelligence centre and an army intelligence camp in the Gav-Yam technology park,” which is located near the hospital.

At the same time, the IDF reported strikes on targets in and around Tehran on the morning of 19 June, and called on residents of the towns of Arak and Khondab, 220 km from Tehran, to evacuate.

The Israel Defence Forces says 40 fighter jets attacked dozens of military targets overnight, notably attacking an inactive nuclear reactor in Iran’s Arak province. An attack on a facility used to develop nuclear weapons near Natanz is also reported.

Israel began airstrikes on Iranian territory on 13 June, attacking nuclear, military and energy facilities. Iran responded with missile and drone strikes against Israel.
