Iran fires rockets at Israel again, there are wounded

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said on Monday that Iran has again fired rockets at Israel. In messages on its telegram channel at around 4 a.m., the IDF said it had identified the rockets, which were headed from Iran to Israel.

The local Magen David Adom emergency service said 67 victims from four different locations were evacuated from central Israel to hospitals, including a 30-year-old woman in serious condition, six in moderate condition and 60 in mild and alert condition.

Explosions rang out in the centre of Tel Aviv, followed by the sirens of ambulances. The IDF later said that residents were able to leave shelters and that search and rescue teams were working in various locations around the country.

Prior to this Iranian attack, the Israel Defence Forces reported that it was striking surface-to-surface missile launch sites in central Iran.

Israel began airstrikes inside Iran on 13 June, attacking nuclear, military and energy facilities. Iran responded with missile and drone strikes against Israel.

On the evening of Sunday, 15 June, Iran attacked the city of Haifa in northern Israel and the town of Kiryat Gat in the Southern District of Israel. Some 30 rockets were fired at Israel.

Also on Sunday, Israel continued its attacks on Iran. Military and strategic targets were again attacked. One of the strikes hit Iran’s Foreign Ministry building in Tehran, Iranian media claimed.

According to the latest figures, Israeli attacks in Iran have killed some 244 people, including military officials. In Israel, Iranian strikes killed 15 people, according to the Health Ministry.
