Residents of one of Britain’s wealthiest high streets are reportedly outraged over preparations for an event linked to the Prince and Princess of Wales. A fashion show for the Burberry brand is expected to take place in the backyard of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s home at the end of the month.
Wealthy residents in the area are concerned that the event will take place at Perks Field Stadium, which is part of the Princess of Wales’ personal garden at Kensington Palace. The Burberry show is due to take place during London Fashion Week at the end of September, but according to the Daily Mail, local residents are unhappy with the organisation.
Homeowners are protesting against the show as they are convinced that the large-scale event will increase traffic jams and litter pollution in their prestigious neighbourhood. However, Burberry claims to have consulted with the royal court and local residents about hosting the show.
