Nicole Kidman opened the fashion show at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. The programme of the first act was entirely dedicated to Hollywood: the audience saw stage images inspired by the films “Moulin Rouge” and “The Great Gatsby”.
After the event, the actress shared a series of photos from the show on social media. She wrote:
“Celebrating the heyday of film and fashion in the world of Vogue: Hollywood! Thank you Anna Wintour and the entire Vogue World team.”
For the event, the 58-year-old Oscar winner chose an elegant black strapless dress, which fans immediately dubbed the “revenge dress”. Dressing in a floor-length gown with a high cut to the hip allowed the actress to pose spectacularly in front of photographers. The image was complemented by blonde coloured curls embedded in light waves and elbow-length gloves.
