On the night of 27 August, Ukrainian drones attacked Ozon’s warehouses in Orenburg and Ufa, the company reported. According to the company, staff were evacuated and, as far as is known, no one was injured.
Ozon clarified that the warehouse in Orenburg has already resumed operations, whilst the facility in Ufa sustained minor damage and remains closed for the time being.
Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channels Exilenova+ and Supernova+ reported that following a drone strike in Blagoveshchensk, which is 40 kilometres from Ufa, an Ozon warehouse caught fire. There were also reports of an attack on the Sterlitamak industrial zone in Bashkortostan. There has been no official confirmation of this information.
The Russian Ministry of Defence stated that 267 Ukrainian drones had been shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Samara, Saratov and Ulyanovsk regions of the Russian Federation, the Krasnodar Krai, Bashkortostan, occupied Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
The Ukrainian military has not yet commented on these attacks.
