On the night of 22 October, drones attacked several Russian regions. In Mordovia, according to the head of the region Artem Zdunov, an enterprise was damaged as a result of the attack.
“Emergency services are working on the site, all necessary forces and means are involved,” he said. Zdunov did not specify which enterprise we are talking about.
Telegram channel Astra geolocated footage of the night attack and concluded that at least one of the drones hit the territory of the Saransk Mechanical Plant, which produces equipment and parts for various industries, including the Russian defence sector.
Dagestan was also attacked, and one of the enterprises was also targeted by drones there, the head of the Russian republic, Sergei Melikov, said.
He said there was no information about casualties and injuries, while information about damage was being clarified.
According to the Russian Defence Ministry, a total of 33 Ukrainian drones were allegedly destroyed this night over eight Russian regions, occupied Crimea, as well as the waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
