In the morning of 24 August, ten drones were recorded over the port of Ust-Luga, Russian media reported.
Subsequently, the governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, confirmed the information about the drone attack on the port of Ust-Luga. According to him, the incident took place in the morning and ten UAVs were destroyed during the attack.
The debris from the drones caused a fire at the NOVATEK terminal, the Russian official said. Firefighters and EMERCOM units are working at the site. According to preliminary data, people were not injured.
Due to the situation, the reception of flights at Pulkovo airport has been temporarily suspended.
