In Russia, drones attacked the Nevinnomyssky Azot plant in the suburbs of Stavropol at night, according to the ASTRA telegram channel.
In June, it was reported that the plant was under attack by UAVs – the AFU described it at the time as “one of the key producers of basic components for explosives, ammunition and rocket fuel.”
Mikhail Minenkov, the mayor of Nevinnomyssk, said there had been 37 arrivals; the scale of the destruction was unknown.
“The situation is under control. I ask everyone to remove panic and not to spread rumours,” he said, releasing in a telegram allegedly video of the Azot plant.
“Arrivals” of drones were recorded in Novocherkassk in the Rostov region, where many industrial plants are located. The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, said the UAV attack was allegedly repelled in eight districts. No hits or destruction were reported.
Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said that in the town of Timashevsk, UAV debris fell into the station area and damaged one of the carriages of a passenger train passing through the town. Two people suffered minor injuries.
“As a result of the fall of the UAV, the Timashevsk railway station was left without power supply, which has already been restored. No damage to the railway infrastructure has been recorded,” Kondratyev wrote.
