A Russian Su-25 combat aircraft crashed in Primorsky Krai, Russian state media reported on 24 March, citing the Russian Defence Ministry.
According to the report, the aircraft crashed while performing a scheduled training flight.
“The flight was performed without ammunition, the aircraft went down in a deserted area, there is no destruction on the ground,” the Defence Ministry states.
According to the ministry, the pilot ejected, he was found by a search and rescue team. The accident was caused by a technical malfunction.
