The North Atlantic Alliance Summit will be held on 7 and 8 July 2026 at the Beştepe Presidential Complex in the Turkish capital Ankara, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced on 19 August.
He thanked Turkey for hosting the upcoming meeting.
“Turkey has been a strong NATO ally for more than 70 years, making an invaluable contribution to our common security. At our next summit, leaders will continue to make NATO a stronger, fairer and more lethal alliance, ready to respond to critical challenges to our security,” he said.
Turkey first hosted the NATO summit in Istanbul in 2004.
This year’s alliance summit was held in The Hague in June.
