Saudi prince founds global bunkering company

Saudi Arabia’s Prince Abdul-Aziz bin Turki Al Saud has founded the country’s first global bunkering company Eleven Energy, a representative of the group told Ship&Bunker.

The company, part of Eleven Ventures, will be headquartered in Riyadh, with representative offices in Saudi Dammam and Rotterdam, the Netherlands, according to Eleven Energy’s website. Chris Todd-ex-head of global trading Delta Energy Fuel Supply & Trading-has been appointed as head.

“In line with the ambitious Vision Kingdom 2030 programme, our company embodies the spirit of diversification, innovation and global reach. We aim to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s presence in the maritime sector by providing world-class bunkering solutions in all major ports around the world. Our mission is not only to provide a reliable and competitive supply of marine fuel, but also to contribute to the Kingdom’s broader goals of economic expansion and global integration,” Eleven Energy’s website explains.
