Elon Musk’s company SpaceX has completed an initial public offering (IPO) worth $75 billion. As part of the IPO, 555.6 million ordinary shares were offered at a price of $135 per share.
Following the offering, SpaceX’s market value was estimated at approximately $1.77 trillion.
As noted by Reuters, SpaceX’s IPO was the largest in global history. The previous record was held by the Saudi oil company Saudi Aramco, which went public in 2019.
Trading in SpaceX shares on the Nasdaq is set to begin on 12 June.
