Taiwan’s Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. (Foxconn Technology), the world’s largest contract electronics maker and Apple supplier, grew revenue 31.8% year-on-year to NT$862.9 billion ($27.42 billion) in December, the company said.
Thus, revenue for the entire fourth quarter rose 22% to NT$2.6 trillion ($82.6 billion). This is the best quarterly performance in the company’s history. The FactSet consensus forecast called for a quarterly figure of $2.4 trillion.
Annual revenue increased by 18.1% and also updated the historical maximum, amounted to $ 8.1 trillion.
Quotes of shares of the company at the end of trading on Monday rose by 1.1%.
