The American company Strive has sharply increased its Bitcoin reserves

The American investment firm Strive Inc., whose shares are listed on the Nasdaq, acquired 3,311 bitcoins between 5 and 9 October 2026, increasing its total cryptocurrency reserves to 32,773 BTC.

This was stated in the company’s filing of 13 October with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The average purchase price was approximately $84,500 per Bitcoin, including commissions and associated costs. Consequently, the total value of the latest purchase is estimated at approximately $279.8 million.

According to published data, as at 2 October, Strive held 29,462 BTC, and as at 9 October, its portfolio had increased to 32,773 BTC. Reserves grew by 11.2 per cent over the week.

At the same time, the company increased its cash and cash equivalents from $284.7 million to $310.3 million, an increase of $25.6 million.

Furthermore, Strive retained a holding of 505,000 STRC preference shares in Strategy Inc., a company specialising in the accumulation of bitcoins. The fair value of this holding as at 9 October was estimated at $50.3 million.

During the reporting period, the total number of Strive Class A and Class B ordinary shares in circulation increased from 100.94 million to 110.39 million. Consequently, the expansion of the company’s cryptocurrency reserves was accompanied by an increase in its share capital.

The increase in corporate investments in Bitcoin reflects the development of investment strategies whereby public companies hold a significant portion of their financial reserves in digital assets. This model ensures that the value of a company’s cryptocurrency assets is directly linked to Bitcoin’s market dynamics, whilst at the same time creating additional risks due to the high volatility of its price.

Strive Inc. is an American public company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The company pursues an investment strategy of accumulating Bitcoin and raising capital through the stock market. Its Class A ordinary shares are traded on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ASST, whilst its preference shares are traded under the ticker symbol SATA.
