The Kremlin commented on the negotiations on a peace agreement in Geneva

Kremlin speaker Dmitry Peskov has said that Russia has not received any plans for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine through official channels and is “closely monitoring” media reports on the results of the US-Ukraine talks in Geneva.

“Essentially, you are proposing to compare media publications. Here, first of all, we need to proceed from the information that comes through official channels. We have not had such information yet and we would not like to compare anything yet,” Russian media quoted Peskov as saying.

“We will wait. There, apparently, the dialogue continues, some contacts will continue. So far we have not received anything officially,” he added.

This is how the speaker of Russian leader Vladimir Putin responded to a question about what the Russian leadership thinks about European proposals to partially change the 28-point plan proposed by the US administration and aimed at a peaceful settlement in Ukraine.

He also said there are no plans yet for a meeting this week between Russian and U.S. negotiators.

Both mentioned plans have not been officially made public, they are judged from media publications citing sources.
