During Operation Epic Fury, three US servicemen were killed and five were seriously wounded, the US military’s Central Command reported as of 9:30 East Coast time (that’s 16:30 Kiev time).
Several other servicemen suffered minor shrapnel wounds and contusions. They are currently undergoing the process of returning to active duty.
The Central Command explained that the situation remains fluid, so out of respect for the families of the dead, the military will not be disclosed until 24 hours after the next of kin report.

The United States and Israel have been carrying out coordinated actions against Iran’s Islamist regime since the morning of 28 February. The US Department of Defence says it is called Operation Epic Fury.
The first wave of strikes killed Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei and other Iranian regime officials. In response, the Iranian military struck Israel, US bases in the Middle East region and countries that Iranian authorities consider US allies.
