The US embassy in Ukraine has warned US citizens about a possible large-scale air strike by Russia over the next 24 hours. The corresponding communiqué was released today on the official website of the embassy.
“The US Embassy in Kiev has received information about a possible large-scale air attack that could occur at any time within the next 24 hours. The embassy, as always, recommends that US citizens be prepared to take immediate shelter if an air alert is declared,” the US embassy said in a statement.
The embassy reminded its compatriots in Ukraine of the necessary steps in case of an air alert: to determine the location of the shelter before the air alert is declared, to have a reliable alert application on the phone and a stock of medicines, water and food. The warning applies to all regions of Ukraine.
