Three people have been killed in a small plane crash in the state of Nebraska (USA), local authorities said.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office specified that” the small plane was flying along the Platte River south of Fremont when it crashed into the river “on Friday evening, 19 April.
“The three passengers of the plane have been found and confirmed dead,” authorities continued. “Their names have not yet been released pending word from next of kin.”
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have launched an investigation. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has asked the community to avoid the crash until further notice so they can continue to investigate.
