The most expected novelty will be the company’s first foldable smartphone – the so-called iPhone Fold. According to preliminary data, the device will have an internal display of 7.6-7.7 inches, an external screen of about 5.3 inches and an almost imperceptible fold at the place of folding.
Also expected is a new liquid metal hinge and a possible switch from Face ID to Touch ID. The estimated price could reach around $2,500.
In parallel, Apple is preparing the iPhone 18 Pro lineup with a new 2-nanometre A20 Pro chip, a smaller Dynamic Island and an improved variable aperture camera. At the same time, the base models of the iPhone 18, according to insiders, may be postponed until spring 2027.
Significant updates are also being prepared for laptops. MacBook Pro M6, according to rumours, will get a thinner body, Touch OLED-display and a new cut instead of the usual “fringes”. Production of OLED panels is probably already preparing Samsung Display.
Among the tablets expected iPad mini 8 with an OLED screen and A20 chip, as well as an updated basic iPad on A19. In addition, Apple is preparing a new smartwatch – Apple Watch Series 12 and probably Ultra 4 with improved health sensors and deeper integration of artificial intelligence.
