On the morning of 14 February, a 21-year-old Ukrainian woman and her 28-year-old boyfriend were found murdered in their home in North Carolina, USA.
Local police said that about they received a report of a shooting on Daphne Lane in the town of Vas. At the scene, law enforcers found two dead.
That she was killed by a Ukrainian refugee was confirmed by her brother Mikhail in his Instagram post.
Detectives quickly determined that 25-year-old Caleb Hayden Fosno, 25, of Ohio, may be involved in the double murder.
The slain woman’s brother later claimed that Fosno drove seven hours from Ohio to break into his sister’s home.
He initially fled the scene, and later that evening, police said Fosno was arrested.

Mikhail Tovmash wrote that his murdered sister Katerina was always by his side.
