Air France – KLM posted a net profit of €549 million in the fourth quarter of 2025, compared to a loss of €63 million in the same period of the previous year, the company said in a press release.
At the same time, operating profit fell 1 per cent to €393 million. Revenue was up 3.9% to €8.19bn.
Net profit for the full year 2025 quintupled to €1.59bn. Operating profit rose 25% to a record €2bn. Revenue reached €33.01bn, up from €31.46bn a year earlier.
Analysts on average had estimated annual operating profit at €1.88bn, according to LSEG.
The group’s airlines carried 24.61 million passengers last quarter, up 4.8 per cent from a year earlier. Flight load factor fell to 86 per cent from 87.3 per cent.
Annual passenger traffic totalled 102.84 million (+5%) and flight load factor was 87.2% (-50 basis points).
Air France-KLM expects a 3-5% increase in capacity in 2026 and forecasts capital expenditure of €3bn.
Share prices of the air carrier is growing by 4.5% in early trading on Thursday.
