An insider has prototyped the first foldable iPhone based on leaks

Youtuber AppleTrack presented a concept of the first foldable iPhone, based on the latest leaks about the possible characteristics of the device. According to these data, the novelty will have a format similar to a book, with two displays: the outer – about 5.5 inches, and the inner – about 7.8 inches.

When open, the gadget will be approximately 4.5-4.8 mm thick, and when folded – 9-9.5 mm, making it one of the thinnest in the class.

The smartphone is expected to feature two main cameras and a front camera that will function in both folded and unfolded modes.

Apple is likely to use a new high-density battery that will keep the body thin. Also, Touch ID integrated into the side button could be introduced instead of Face ID.

The body of the device is rumoured to be made of titanium, while the hinge mechanism will be made of a combination of titanium and stainless steel, which should ensure a highly durable and robust design.

The estimated price of the foldable iPhone will be between $2000 and $2500, which is noticeably higher than the cost of Apple’s standard models.

The device is expected to be a milestone in iPhone development, combining innovation and a new user experience. The AppleTrack concept clearly demonstrates what Apple’s first foldable smartphone could be.
