China increased oil production by 1.3% year-on-year to 126.6 million tonnes in January-July, the State Statistics Office said.
Including July, production rose 1.2% to 18.12 million tonnes.
Refinery throughput in the seven-month period was 424.68 million tonnes, up 2.6 percent from the same period in 2024. This included an 8.9% increase to 63.06 million tonnes in July.
The country’s natural gas production rose 6% to 152.5 billion cubic metres in January-July, the GSA report said. Including last month, production rose 7.4% to 21.6 billion cubic metres.
