China increased oil production by 1.7% year-on-year to 144.86 million tonnes in January-October, the State Statistics Office said.
In particular, last month’s production rose 1.3% to 18 million tonnes.
Refinery throughput for the ten months stood at 614.24 million tonnes, up 4% from the same period in 2024. Specifically, it rose 6.4% to 63.43 million tonnes in October.
Natural gas production in the country increased by 6.3% to 217 billion cubic metres in January-October, the GSA report said. In particular, last month’s production rose by 5.9% to 22.1 billion cubic metres.
