The Israel Defence Forces Home Front Command on June 24 lifted all restrictions on meetings, study and work. The decision was announced after a new security assessment by the command amid a ceasefire agreement with Iran, The Times of Israel reported.
According to the Home Front Command, there will be no restrictions on meetings in most parts of the country, and businesses and schools can resume work.
In some communities on the border with the Gaza Strip, gatherings are limited to 2,000 people, a measure that existed before the war with Iran.
From 13 to 24 June, work was only allowed at critical infrastructure businesses, school children did not attend school, and the right to assemble was restricted.
Israel began bombing Iran on 13 June. The stated targets of the airstrikes are facilities related to Iran’s nuclear programme, buildings of security agencies, as well as nuclear scientists and high-ranking military officers. According to the latest official data from the Iranian authorities, the victims of the attacks were 224 people, most of whom Tehran calls civilians.
Israel recalls that in 2024 Iran twice carried out massive strikes on the territory of Israel using ballistic missiles and drones – on 13 April and 1 October. A series of missile strikes were also carried out by Iran after 13 June. Twenty-five civilians were killed in Israel, including a Ukrainian family of five, including three children.
