Iran’s military has launched more than 100 attack drones at Israel in the past few hours, IDF spokesman Brigadier General Effie Defrin told a briefing on the morning of June 13.
He said that the Israel Defence Forces are working to shoot down these aerial attack sites. The drones, launched from Iranian territory, will take several hours to reach Israel.
At the same briefing, the spokesman said that the Israeli air force used more than 200 aircraft, dropped with more than 330 munitions, to strike Iran overnight. Effie Defrin also confirmed that Israel killed several senior Iranian officials, including Chief of General Staff Mohammad Bagheri, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Hossein Salami and other military leaders.
At 3 a.m. on 13 June, Israel launched an attack on Iran. Israeli aircraft struck uranium enrichment facilities in Natang and Fordow, missile bases in Kermanshah and Khorremabad, as well as Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz and other major Iranian cities.
