Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has revealed the first live firing of HIMARS multiple rocket launchers in Estonia.
Peskov claims that due to the “aggressive policies” of Europe’s coastal states, the Baltic is “a region where tension reigns.”
“Russia intends to firmly defend its legitimate interests in this region. Russia is a Baltic state. The fact that many countries are engaged in provocative actions there is also an obvious reality,” he said.
Last week, it became known that the Estonian military for the first time conducted live firing of US HIMARS multiple rocket launchers. In particular, the first live firing from HIMARS MLRS took place on 11 July on the Estonian island of Saaremaa.
