Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Poland on 19 December, the Polish head of state’s office has said.
According to the released schedule, in the morning of 19 December, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will officially meet with Karol Navrotskyy, followed by their personal meeting. This will be followed by talks between the delegations chaired by the presidents and a meeting between the presidents of Poland and Ukraine and media representatives.
The topic of the talks is not reported.
Earlier, Zelensky said that he would go to Poland at the end of this week, having accepted the offer of the Polish side. He emphasised that it was very important for Ukraine to maintain relations with Poland.
On 18 December, the Ukrainian president was in Brussels, where he participated in the summit of EU leaders. Before that, the head of state was in the Netherlands, as well as in Germany, where negotiations between the Ukrainian delegation headed by the Ukrainian president and the special representative of the United States president, Steve Whitkoff, and the son-in-law of US President Jared Kushner continued in Berlin.
In recent weeks, the USA has once again been trying to reach a peace agreement between Moscow and Kiev.
