Well-known insider Majin Bu posted images of the cases for the upcoming iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro on X (Twitter), confirming previous rumours of design changes for Apple’s new flagships.
Judging by the published photos, the iPhone 17 Air will get an even thinner body, and the main visual difference between the models will be a new shape of the camera unit. In the Air version, the camera module will be narrow and elongated, while in the Pro – wide, but also oblong. A similar camera style was previously used by Google in its Pixel smartphones.
The images also show that the location of the flash and microphone will remain the same – in the upper right corner of the body.
Apple is expected to officially unveil the entire iPhone 17 lineup in September 2025, and along with the new smartphones, the company is likely to announce a new Apple Watch series.
