Nothing has shared new details about the upcoming Phone (3) smartphone, which could probably upset fans of the brand. In an official account on social network X, the manufacturer has revealed that it will strip the smartphone of the feature that has become a hallmark of the Nothing Phone lineup.
According to the official statement, the Phone (3) will not be equipped with the brand’s signature Glyph LED backlight, which is a set of LED inserts on the back panel. These are used as a notification indicator and can also glow in time with the music track playing on the smartphone.
One of the users in the comments to the post suggested that the company probably decided to switch to another type of backlighting – dot-matrix. A similar solution is already used by ASUS in the ROG Phone series. However, there is no official confirmation of this information yet.
