Famous Apple insider Sonny Dixon shared the first images of the prototype of Powerbeats Pro 2 headphones in transparent version. Recall, the official release of Powerbeats Pro 2 took place back in February, and then they were presented in four bright colours.
According to Dixon, it is likely that we are talking about internal prototypes, which are unlikely to appear on the market in this form. At the same time, he doesn’t rule out that a transparent version could see the world, but if that happens – its appearance will be significantly refined.
Regardless of Apple’s plans, it’s always interesting to get a glimpse of the internal structure of gadgets, and the transparent Powerbeats Pro 2 provide such an opportunity.

Dixon also reminded us that shots of transparent AirPods prototypes have appeared before, and in 2023 Apple officially unveiled Beats Studio Buds+ in a transparent design – though those were significantly less “open” than the current prototype.
