A silk dress with a floral print, which belonged to Princess Diana, went under the hammer for $520,000 at Julien’s Auctions in the United States. The auction was held on 26 June, and the starting price of the lot was $50 thousand.
This outfit received the unofficial name “caring dress”, as the Princess of Wales often chose it for visits to hospitals and charity events.
In addition, at the auction were sold and other things Diana: cream silk dress, in which she attended a dinner in Saudi Arabia in 1986 (price $455 thousand), ski suit purple colour.
