Russia: Rostov region governor claims casualties due to UAV attack

 

The Rostov region in southern Russia, bordering Ukraine, has come under drone attack, regional governor Yury Slyusar said on the evening of 21 March.

“In cities and districts of the Rostov region, air defence forces and means reflect the enemy attack. UAVs have been destroyed in the Millerovsky and Sholokhovsky districts,” he wrote on his social media accounts.

The locksmith also claimed the drone exploded in the regional centre of the region. Subsequently, he reported about the injured:

“Two victims of the UAV explosion of the resident of the house on Morsovetskaya Street, 49/1 are now taken to Rostov City Emergency Hospital with cut wounds. Doctors assess their condition as medium severity.”

Another woman was treated on the spot, the regional head added.

Local media, citing eyewitnesses, reported an explosion in a residential area in the Russian city.
