On the night of 25 October, drones attacked the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation, Governor Andrei Bocharov said.
According to him, allegedly as a result of falling drone debris in Novonikolayevsky district, an explosion was recorded on the territory of the Balashovskaya power transmission line substation, which was “promptly” eliminated by firefighting forces.
He also noted that a private residential building was damaged in the Svetoyarsk district, there were no casualties.
The Ukrainian command has not yet commented on this information.
Since the beginning of 2024, Russian refineries have been regularly attacked by Ukrainian drones. At some refineries, primary oil refining units failed and required repairs.
