Previously, music lovers could only find out about their music preferences through third-party services like Last.fm or Wrapped’s annual report. Now, however, Spotify provides updates on a weekly basis.
What the new feature offers:
- Weekly report: displays the user’s most popular artists and songs from the last 7 days.
- Special moments: themed “music memories” will be added to the stats – discovering new tracks or moments when the user listened to a particular artist frequently.
- Sharing results: statistics can be shared via Instagram, WhatsApp or directly on Spotify.
- Playlist creation: users can create a selection of their favourite tracks or new recommendations based on their habits.
To view your stats, you need to tap on your profile picture in the app and go to the “Listening Statistics” tab . The feature is already available for both free and Premium users in more than 60 countries, including Ukraine.
Spotify noted that despite the launch of the new feature, the traditional annual Wrapped report will remain – but now users will be able to track their music preferences regularly throughout the year.
