There was a shooting near the CIA headquarters in Langley in the US – a man was wounded, Western media reported.
According to CNBC, the building’s security personnel wounded an unidentified man.
A spokesman for the intelligence agency said that there was an incident near the headquarters, to which law enforcement officers responded.
According to CBS News correspondent Jennifer Jacobs, a woman who was driving the vehicle was injured. Medics assessed the injury to be non-life threatening.
Security officials “went into action” and detained the man outside the intelligence agency’s headquarters, Reuters writes. The agency also reports that the CIA declined to confirm whether the detainee was wounded with a gun.
