Valve announced the results of The Steam Awards, the main winner of which was Hollow Knight: Silksong. Information about the results was published on the official page of the shop.
According to the representatives of Valve, the community itself determined the winners during the winter sale in Steam, and these games received the Steam 2025 awards. Hollow Knight: Silksong won two key awards at once – “Game of the Year” and “Best Game You Don’t Get”.
Best Soundtrack went to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, while Dispatch won for Best Game with an Outstanding Story. Silent Hill f was recognised for its impressive visual style – last year’s award saw a similar award go to the Silent Hill 2 remake.
The award for Best Supporting Game went to Baldur’s Gate 3, which was previously recognised as Game of the Year for 2023. In addition to the main nominations, virtual reality, handheld and co-operative gameplay projects were also recognised.
