Halle Berry did not plan any candid images on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival, but the dress she chose for the exit had to be replaced. This was demanded by the organisers.
While the whole world is discussing the cancellation of “naked” dresses in Cannes, another ban by the organisers went unnoticed, under which Berry fell. This year’s festival also banned “excessively voluminous” clothes. Dresses with long trails and other trappings that can interfere with the stars’ gait were also blacklisted.
“I had a stunning dress that I can’t wear because it has too big a train. I’m not going to break the rules. I think nudity was also cancelled correctly,” Variety quoted Berry as saying.
