European aerospace corporation Airbus will raise its dividend payout ratio to 30-50 per cent of adjusted earnings from 30-40 per cent, the company said.
Airbus also reaffirmed its financial and aircraft delivery forecasts for the current year.
In particular, adjusted EBIT is still expected to be €7bn. In 2024, this figure stood at €5.4bn.
In addition, Airbus still expects to deliver around 820 commercial SARs this year against 766 a year earlier. At the end of May, 243 aircraft had already been delivered.
During the Paris Air Show, which continues at Le Bourget, the company received several orders, with LOT Polish Airlines ordering 20 A220-100s and A220-300s each and Saudi Riyadh Air ordering 25 A350-1000 wide-body aircraft, Dow Jones Newswires reported.
According to Airbus forecasts, global demand for passenger and cargo aircraft in 2025-2044 will exceed 43 thousand units, and the total fleet of airlines during this period will almost double.
